Taijiquan (or tai chi) is a meditative martial art that originated in China. In this class, you'll learn warm-up exercises that include gentle stretching and movements that you can learn quickly, as well as the basic movements that make up the longer Yangjia Michuan taiji forms. You don't need any special equipment or clothing to practice taiji, and you can adapt it to whatever level of mobility you have, which makes it a great lifelong practice. Register for the 4-week series from Sept. 22 through Oct. 13 via Zoom. Beginner and advanced taiji practitioners welcome. Registrants will also have access to limited-time recordings for extra practice. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information on how to join the sessions.
