UC Davis conducts over 980 comprehensive annual lab safety reviews under the Lab Safety Review program

Annual laboratory safety reviews are conducted by the Lab Safety Professionals in EH&S on an annual schedule.

The program follows a set of established safety requirements and best practices listed within the LSR checklist. The program includes a follow-up within 30 days to ensure findings are resolved, answer questions, and to finalize the review.

The team is committed to the safety and well-being of our research community and published the Laboratory Safety Resources to help labs with developing and implementing their lab safety programs.

The Laboratory Safety Professionals are available to review safety documents, provide feedback, and answer any questions you may have.
