The Campus Shop Safety Manual

The campus Shop Safety Manual is a guide to help shops comply with the Campus’ Shop Safety Program as outlined in the UC Davis Policy and Procedures Manual section 290-58.

The manual describes the proper access controls, training, engineering controls, safe work practices and procedures to be followed by faculty, staff, students, visiting scholars and all other personnel working in shops at UC Davis. It also outlines the requirements for establishing a written Shop Safety Plan specific to each shop. This manual must be made available to all applicable personnel.
