Let's Get Moving!

Join us for a week of UC Davis Moves! From Monday, May 2, through Sunday, May 8, choose your favorite physical activity and strive for at least 30 minutes per day, whether it's done all at once or in short breaks throughout the day. 

You will receive daily emails with how other Movers stayed active and a link to report your physical activity for that day. Each day that you enter your minutes, you will receive an additional entry for one of our prize drawings. Any physical activity counts!

UC Davis Moves Bingo

Tour through the UC Davis Campus, UC Davis Health, or your own neighborhood with our UC Davis Moves Bingo Cards! Each card highlights different landmarks such as the Eggheads on campus or the Cancer Survivors Park at UC Davis Health. Aim to get four in a row, or go for blackout bingo!

Let us know how you used the UC Davis Moves Bingo Cards in your daily survey to receive one bonus entry for one of our prize drawings!

In-Person Walk or Roll Events

Davis Campus

Meet the Staff and Faculty Health and Well-being team at the start of the Gateway Walking Loop at Shields Library. Giveaways will be shared, and participants will be eligible for prize drawings. This 1-mile look takes you through the tree-lined Mrak Mall and the Arboretum, to some of the most beautiful spaces on campus.

Sacramento Campus

Join Janel Scott, UC Living Fit Forever program manager, for a fun walk or roll around the UC Davis Health campus. Due to construction on the Sacramento Campus, this modified walking loop begins at the Education Building and take participants past the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, the Facilities Support Services Building, the Cancer Survivors Park, and the Main Hospital.

Monday, May 2, through Friday, May 27:

Travel the California Coastline with Walker Tracker

This year, UC Moves has an exciting new plan to compete against other UC campuses using the Walker Tracker platform. Starting May 2 sign up to join our UC Davis team as we travel the California Coastline, stopping at famous and scenic sights along the way. The challenge officially runs May 6-27. 

Registration opens May 2. Space is limited; licenses are first-come, first-serve. Licenses are limited to current UC Davis employees and retirees.

  • Healthy Outside Campaign - Healthy Outside is a campus-wide initiative to improve our community's physical, mental, and emotional health and well-being by including more nature into our everyday routines. To take part in the challenge, simply post a picture which captures the unique ways you or your friends are staying "Healthy Outside" along with the hashtag #UCDHealthyOutside AND tag @HealthyUCDavis. Please note, for our team to see an Instagram entry, the Instagram account needs to be public-facing.
