Formed in 2004 at the Kyiv Center of Contemporary Art, DakhaBrakha shows are staged with a strong visual element, illustrating their bright, unique and unforgettable sound. Accompanied by Indian, Arabic, African and Ukrainian traditional instrumentation, their musical spectrum inspires “cultural and artistic liberation” aimed at unlocking the potential of Ukrainian melodies for the country’s younger generation and the rest of the world.
