Presented by Laura Meredith-Dennis, RD, MAS, of UC Davis Health.

Laura's Bio: I have been a dietitian for 29 years and have spent most of my career in the pediatric world. I was a neonatal dietitian for 25 years at Mercy San Juan Medical Center, until I decided to make a change in 2023 and move over to UCDMC as an out-patient pediatric dietitian. So why is a pediatric dietitian talking about menopause, you may be asking? Because I have a passion for helping woman, and as a fellow post-menopausal person, I understand the many struggles that we all face. Outside of work, I have been a CrossFit athlete for the past 13 years, and recently became a level 2 CrossFit coach in 2023. I have personally seen how exercise, hand in hand with nutrition can change the aging trajectory. CrossFit brings together both fitness and nutrition in a way that inspires me to support others in their journey.
