  • Who can participate?
  • All UC Employees are able to participate. Whether you’re just beginning or an avid fitness enthusiast, Spring Into Motion gives you simple, motivating tools to see your progress, providing instant feedback from your favorite tracking device or app.
  • What is the goal?
  • To earn 60 points (15+ a week) by logging 6000 or more steps (using a tracking device or the Step Converter tool) a day, 5 days a week. If you’re not able to reach 6000 steps at the start, Spring Into Motion inspires you to do more every day on the way to your goal.
  • Is there team participation?
  • Yes! In this optional friendly UC-wide competition, teams of 4-40 challenge each other to add up points (the group that averages the most tops the leaderboard). Plus weekly Thrive Thursday challenges can add bonus points. After registering, read How It Works on the Team page to learn more.

    Please note:
    - The individual who starts the team is the team leader
    - You can only be a member of one team
    - Once you join a team, you may not switch to another team
