Insight Timer | Meditation Timer App

Use Insight Timer to practice mindfulness with the UC Davis Community. 

Insight Timer is a wonderful app that is freely available to use, it allows users to:

  • Keep track of time when you meditate. It includes options to have a bell ring at the beginning, the end and intermittently through your meditation.
  • Listen to guided mindfulness meditation.  (Please note that not all meditations on this app are mindfulness meditations.)
  • Practice with community.  You can be a part of our Insight Timer Community by joining the Mindful UC Davis group.

How to find the Mindful UC Davis group on Insight Timer:

Once you've downloaded the app to your mobile device:

  1. Select Your Profile icon
  2. Select 'Groups'
  3. Enter "Mindful UC Davis" in the search bar
  4. Select 'Mindful UC Davis' from the search results
  5. Select 'Join Group'

Once you've joined the group, you can meditate with others and post kindness messages to the community.
