Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs)

Learn how to develop a personal mindfulness meditation practice that can promote health and well-being. This 6-session course is designed by UCLA's Mindful Awareness Research Center to provide a foundational understanding of mindfulness, develop a personal meditation practice and apply mindfulness in daily life, through lectures, experiential exercises and interactive group discussions.

The course is suitable for those who are new to mindfulness as well as those who would like to revitalize their practice and is offered at no cost to UC Davis Staff and Faculty

Dates: Thursdays, Aug 4, 11, 18, 25; Sep 1, 8
Time: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Location: Online (details will be provided to participants)

Apply for the 6-session course today!* The application deadline is July 29th, 2022 at noon. 

*Please do not apply if you know that you cannot attend all six sessions. All participants will need to be in a quiet, private space with video on for the full 2 hours of each class session.
PLEASE NOTE: Space is limited. Participants in the course will be selected by lottery. If you are selected, you will be notified via email by 5 p.m. on Aug 1. Those who are not selected will be automatically placed on a waitlist.
