Midday Mindfulness Meditation

Join us for a guided mindfulness meditation session led by instructor Neesha Patel, PhD. Mindfulness is receiving increasing scientific support as an effective way to manage stress and promote wellbeing.

These sessions are open to all faculty, staff, students and retirees with any level of experience.

Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs)

Learn how to develop a personal mindfulness meditation practice that can promote health and well-being. The classes are designed to prepare you to apply mindfulness in daily life, through lectures, experiential exercises and group discussions in a supportive community environment. This class is suitable for those who are new to mindfulness as well as those who would like to revitalize their practice. The course is offered at no cost to UC Davis Staff and Faculty. Optional Continuing Education Units available for a fee.
