Midday Mindfulness Meditation
Join us for four guided mindfulness meditation sessions led by instructor Neesha Patel, PhD. Mindfulness is receiving increasing scientific support as an effective way to manage stress and promote wellbeing.

Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs)
Learn how to develop a personal mindfulness meditation practice that can promote health and well-being. This 6-session course is designed to prepare you to apply mindfulness in daily life, through lectures, experiential exercises and group discussions in a supportive community environment.
The course is suitable for those who are new to mindfulness as well as those who would like to revitalize their practice and is offered at no cost to UC Davis Staff and Faculty.
Dates: Wednesdays, Jan. 8, 22, 29; Feb. 5, 12, 19 (No class on Jan. 15)
Time: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Location: Davis Campus (details will be provided to participants)

If selected, please note that you must be willing to participate in a possible research study associated with this class (this involves completing online surveys). IMPORTANT: Participants in the course will be selected by lottery. If you are selected, you will be notified via email by Jan. 3 at noon. Those who are not selected will be automatically placed on a waitlist.
