Midday Mindfulness Meditation

Join us for four guided mindfulness meditation sessions led by instructor Neesha Patel, PhD. Mindfulness is receiving increasing scientific support as an effective way to manage stress and promote wellbeing.

These sessions are open to all faculty, staff, students and retirees with any level of experience. View our flyer (PDF coming soon)!

Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs)

Learn how to develop a personal mindfulness meditation practice that can promote health and well-being. This 6-session course is designed to prepare you to apply mindfulness in daily life, through lectures, experiential exercises and group discussions in a supportive community environment.

The course is suitable for those who are new to mindfulness as well as those who would like to revitalize their practice and is offered at no cost to UC Davis Staff and Faculty.

Dates: Wednesdays, Jan. 8, 22, 29; Feb. 5, 12, 19 (No class on Jan. 15)
Time: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Location: Davis Campus (details will be provided to participants)
