Lockout/Tagout for Authorized Persons    

This 1.5-hour course is intended for authorized persons, and provides information about the control of hazardous energy and work under the protection of a lockout/tagout permit. The intent of the course is to provide information on lockout/tagout practices and the significance of lockout/tagout devices. Course objectives include:

• Defining terms commonly used in a lockout/tagout program.
• Describing specific lockout/tagout techniques commonly used in a lockout/tagout program.
• Recalling standard lockout/tagout procedures.
