This 40 minute course covers information mandated by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1025. It provides general knowledge of the hazards associated with lead exposure and requirements to reduce or eliminate exposure. The content in this course is designed to comply with regulatory requirements. Course objectives include:
- Identifying sources of lead exposure.
- Identifying adverse health effects associated with lead exposure.
- Specifying the purpose and elements of the Medical Surveillance Program and the Medical Removal Protection Program.
- Specifying controls and work practices to reduce lead exposures.
