This instructor-led course is intended for all faculty and staff who are at risk of back injuries, in order to provide information regarding job-specific hazards, safe work practices, ergonomics, and to eliminate preventable back injuries. This course is designed to comply with regulatory requirements. Course objectives include:

• Identifying job-specific hazards that contribute to preventable back injuries.
• Describing ergonomic considerations that minimize back injuries in the workplace.
• Recalling safe work practices that minimize back injuries.
