Confined Space Entry
This course is intended for all personnel that may be required to work in confined spaces, in order to provide personnel with information about the hazards and hazard control methods that will permit safe work. This course complies with regulatory requirements. Course objectives include:
- Identifying and evaluating confined space hazards and implementing appropriate control measures.
- Describing the roles and responsibilities of entry supervisors, attendants, entrants, standby personnel, and rescuers.
- Identifying procedures used to test and monitor confined space conditions.
- Developing safe work practices and effective safety measures for confined space entry.
- Explaining training requirements, available resources, and applicable Cal/OSHA regulations.
