This 30 minute course is intended for all UC Davis radiation workers who use x-ray radiographic and fluoroscopic units, in order to fulfill the initial and recertification training requirements. There is a 20 question diagnostic x-ray safety exam with an average test time of 15 minutes. Course topics include:
- Radiation physics
- Radiobiology
- UC Davis, State and Federal use requirements
- The Diagnostic X-ray Safety Manual provides study materials and regulatory references that are needed for the quiz.
**PLEASE NOTE: The Learning Management System (LMS), where trainings are housed, is set up for employees. If you are a student or visiting scholar, you must request access to the system before you can complete your training. Please email hr-learning@ucdavis.edu to request access to the system.
