Course duration estimate: 20 mins
This 20 minute course is intended for all staff, faculty and students who handle food at temporary food events, in order to educate people about safe food handling practices. Course topics include:
- Understanding foodborne illnesses.
- Understanding safe food handling practices, including maintaining good hygiene.
- Understanding proper food temperatures.
- Understanding the importance and proper methods of sanitation.
- Understanding how to obtain a food permit.
