UC Davis Emergency Management is assembling a Whole Community Planning Group (WCPG) to provide feedback, guidance, and direction to emergency management regarding the campuswide Hazard Vulnerability Assessment (HVA) and emergency plans.
WCPG Mission
The UC Davis Whole Community Planning Group (WCPG) acts as a centralized, inclusive forum for transparent, campuswide emergency planning of critical functions and operations, which equitably represents all UC Davis communities, populations, identities, and perspectives.
WCPG Background
Effective emergency planning is inclusive. UC Emergency Management adopted NFPA 1600: Standard on Emergency Management and Business Continuity which requires a Program Committee to “provide input, and/or assist in the coordination of the preparation, development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of the [emergency management] program”.
