The current medical waste service contract is set to expire in November. New changes are coming!

There will now be two different vendor options for each department to choose from, either Stericycle or Clean Harbors. Also, there will very likely be an increase in overall cost, regardless of which vendor you choose to work with. The exact pricing from each company is still being negotiated by the Strategic Sourcing group in the Supply Chain Management department, but the fee structures are expected to be finalized in the coming weeks. We wanted to make sure everyone is aware of these upcoming changes so you have ample time to prepare.
