Safety Month Wrap-Up
- Safety Services just wrapped up UC Davis' 4th-annual Safety Month and thank you to everyone who participated and shared the month's activities with a colleague - you helped improve safety at UC Davis!
Hazard Communication (HazCom) Committee
- Safety Services is excited to announce the formation of a Hazard Communication (HazCom) Committee. The Committee will focus on hazardous chemical use and safety, in areas not covered by the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
EH&S is Hiring!

Nominate a Safety Star

You absolutely know a campus employee who is making contributions to improve the safety culture at UC Davis and you should nominate them to become a Safety Star today.
New AED Inspection Program
- Beginning this summer, UC Davis Fire Department Student EMTs are going to start performing safety and maintenance checks on all campus automated external defibrillators (AEDs). At minimum, the AEDs will be checked quarterly by UCDFD staff, with the goal of checking every AED monthly.
