Exceptions to Pre-Placement Medical Exams

Listed below are the circumstances in which an exception can be made for Pre-Placement Medical Exam:

  1. If an applicant had been employed in the same job title as the current vacancy and has had a break in service of less than six months, a repeat Pre-Placement Medical Exam is not required.

  2. If an employee is changing from one job title to a different job title that has identical Pre-Placement Medical Exam requirements, a repeat Pre-Placement Medical Exam is not required as long as any break in service is less than six months.

  3. If an employee is moving from a limited appointment position to a career position with the same job title or to a different job title that has identical Pre-Placement Medical Exam requirements, a repeat Pre-Placement Medical Exam is not required as long as any break in service is less than six months.
