Meet regularly with a certified health coach to support your health and well-being journey.
Through UC Living Fit Forever (UCLFF), staff, faculty, students, and retirees, can meet with a health and wellness coach for no cost. Coaches support clients by activating their internal strengths, connecting clients with resources, and providing a safe, non-judgmental environment.
The goal of this program is to empower clients to develop self-management strategies to create and sustain positive lifestyle changes.
Examples of goals worked on with clients:
- Sleep
- Phone use and improved focus
- Nutrition and relationship with food
- Stress
- Mindfulness practices
- Purpose and life satisfaction

Expectations of Clients
You can meet with your health coach weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. It is a flexible schedule that works for you. However, there are several expectations clients should meet:
- 3-month time commitment
- 1st session = 1 hour
- Follow up sessions = 30 - 45 mins
- Participants must attend at least 1 UCLFF or Active Aggies fitness class each week (virtual options available)
How to Sign Up
1. Email hs-uclivingfitforever@ucdavis.edu indicating your interest in working with a health coach
2. The health coaching team will reply to your message. Then, you will need to:
- Sign and return the Health Coaching Agreement (PDF) and complete the Intake Form Survey
- Include your preferred day/time you are available to meet with your coach
3. Your coach will reach out within one week of receiving your agreement form and intake form responses
