This 30 minute course is intended for all employees, in order to provide information to help prevent noise-induced hearing loss. The content in this course is designed to comply with regulatory requirements. Course objectives include:
- Describing the effects of noise on hearing.
- Discussing the components of OSHA's Hearing Conservation Program, including noise monitoring, hearing tests, training, and hearing protection.
- Specifying the proper selection, fitting, use, and care of hearing protectors.
