Mouse Handling

These classes focus on the practical handling, restraint, gavage, injection, and blood collection techniques commonly used with laboratory mice. Participants are required to complete the online "Animal Care & Use 101" course and the Mouse Handling Video and Quiz eLearning piece prior to participating in a skills class. Every attempt is made to tailor classes to the specific needs of participants so it is encouraged for participants to be familiar with the IACUC protocol they will be working under.
