Indoor Hoisting and Rigging

This 30 minute course is intended for all UC Davis workers who handle large, heavy constructions loads, in order to consider significant safety issues associated with the manufacturing industry. The content in this course is designed to comply with regulatory requirements. Course objectives include:
- Specifying general safety issues of cranes, hoisting, and rigging, and operator responsibilities.
- Defining the purpose of the crane safety program.
- Describing general inspection practices, testing practices, and basic loading handling considerations.
- Recognizing standard hand signals.
