Biological Use Authorization
| A Biological Use Authorization Form (BUA) should be submitted to the Biological Safety Administrative Advisory Committee (BSAAC) when use of a biological agent and/or recombinant DNA is anticipated. No work with biological agents or recombinant DNA is permitted on the UC Davis campus before approval is granted by BSAAC.
**Attention**There is an optional class now available to help faculty and staff determine what research requires a BUA form and outlines the BUA process, including deadlines, filling out the form, submittal, terminology, and common mistakes/omissions.
